Breath alcohol testing is typically performed during a random drug and alcohol program. Many times breath alcohol is performed as a part of pre employment qualifications. The majority of the time breath alcohol testing is requested as a result of a post accident requirement. Other reasons for performing a breathalyzer test are “for cause”, reasonable suspicion or follow up testing. Regardless of the reason, Fas-Tes Drug Testing is ready to offer breath alcohol testing immediately to accommodate this sometimes very time sensitive service need.

     Fas-Tes performs evidentiary breath alcohol testing with Lifeloc Phoenix® 6.0 Portable Breath Alcohol Testing Equipment. We chose to use this equipment because Lifeloc is a leader in breath alcohol testing equipment as well as BAT Breath Alcohol Technician training. We use this equiment because it is a small digital breathalyzer with a thermal printer, which allows us to be portable for on-site testing.

     Fas-Tes uses a professional method to successfully train our BAT’s in accordance with 49 CFR Part 40 of the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Alcohol Testing Procedures.
